Elizabeth Andrews holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and obtained her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University. She is a member of the Florida Bar, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She belongs to the Medical Claims Defense Network and the Florida Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention. Prior to practicing insurance defense, she held a clerkship with the Honorable Chief Judge Elizabeth A. Kovachevich of the United States District Court (Middle District of Florida) and a position with the State Attorney’s Office/Thirteenth Judicial Circuit. She has been specializing in insurance defense since January of 1996. Elizabeth has both jury and non-jury trial experience. She is a frequent speaker at in-house insurance company seminars and conferences hosted by the Florida Insurance Fraud Education Committee (FIFEC), the International Association of Special Investigation Units (IASIU), and the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB). She served on the Florida Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention’s Prosecutor Education Committee. Elizabeth currently assists insurance companies with claim investigations, offering coverage opinions, and conducting Examinations Under Oath. She also handles litigation, focusing on coverage defenses and suspect insurance claims. She is called upon to assist in both individual claims, as well as project matters, that consist of numerous claims files. Elizabeth specializes in both property and casualty claims and is well versed on Florida No-Fault law. She does assist clients in resisting payment on unfounded claims and in recovering money paid out on non-compensable claims, including money paid to medical providers pursuant to the Florida No-Fault Statute. Prior to co-founding Andrews & Manno, P.A., she was a shareholder with Kingsford & Rock, P.A., managing the Tampa office.
